FMS owes true allegiance to the passenger and RoRo freight shipping sectors ranging widely from cruise operations through to multipurpose ferry, RoPax and RoRo operations worldwide where we have had significant success. That said, we are aware of our limitations which has resulted in a number of impressive strategic alliances built up over a number of years to help provide added value for FMS clients.
One such example covers the specific expertise necessary to augment food and beverage and retail segments of vessel and terminal offers. Another involves design principles that range from internal vessel spaces through to terminals and terminal buildings as clearly illustrated by the following images which were developed for one of the largest cruise and ferry passenger ports in the EU and where (1) segregation of freight and (2) ability to cope with peaks in demand, were critical considerations.
